Gas Pantai Timur Sdn Bhd established itself in 1980 as a prominent player in Malaysia’s gas industry. They secured a license to produce both Oxygen and Nitrogen on June 24th of that year, marking a significant milestone. This achievement made them the sole Bumiputera company authorized to manufacture medical gases, a distinction they’ve held ever since.

Initially, Gas Pantai Timur focused on distributing industrial and medical gases throughout the East Coast region in 1981.
As our ambitions grew, we began pursuing government contracts in 1982. We received our first contract in 1984 and this further solidified our position as a key supplier in the Malaysian market.
